By the late 17th century, the Caribbean was teeming with ships. Pirates roamed the seas but so did the navies of England, France and Spain. Finding a safe port was getting more and more difficult. Pirate Captains began using the Gulf Coast to hide from the naval frigates.
Long before Houston was settled, the long bayous provided safe havens for Pirates seeking safety from fast frigates. These bayous were home to dangers themselves. Snakes, crocodiles, and other predators lived here too. Pirates fought amongst themselves and camps began to fill with the graves of restless spirits.
After the sun goes down, these spirits roam the bayous. Ghostly ships crewed with the spirits of the Cursed Pirates of Copper Creek.....
